Massage Therapy is a healing art which has been documented as a therapeutic modality for over
3000-years. Its medium is human touch. Touch is an instinctive and basic human need. It can soothe when we are in physical or emotional pain and discomfort. It can invigorate when we feel depleted. My aim is to help you reduce and manage the symptoms of pain and injury (reduced mobility) and relieve stress and tension leaving you feeling rejuvenated, re-charged, rested and re-balanced.
Additional benefits of Massage Therapy include increased immune function, improved mental health and wellness and injury prevention (fitness). It can also promote healing and recovery of existing injuries.
I use an integrative approach combining elements from a variety of skills I have learnt over the years.

Esalen
Massage
Esalen Massage is for anyone struggling with pain, stiffness, tension or fatigue. It was developed in the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. It integrates bodywork techniques with awareness and breathwork. Unlike other types of bodywork which focus on specific areas of the body (shoulder, hip, knee, etc) This treatment intends to treat the whole person not just a specific physical complaint. Esalen Massage uses long, slow and rhythmic strokes connecting all parts of the body. Those long strokes, as well as other elements unique to this healing art such as rocking and gentle passive joint mobilisations, profoundly impact the nervous system inducing feelings of relaxation, wholeness and expansiveness. This treatment is nurturing and healing for both body and mind.

Advanced Clinical

Advanced Clinical Massage integrates Neuromuscular Techniques (i.e. Trigger Point Therapy), Deep Tissue and Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques as well as Acupressure, Joint Mobilization and Stretching. Lomi Lomi

Massage
Lomi Lomi is an ancient healing art from the temples of Hawaii. The word Lomi means ‘to knead’, ‘to soothe’. Traditionally, it was practiced by the Kahunas (wise men/women) during times of great transitions in people’s lives. It uses flowing, circular, integrated strokes using the forearms, hands and elbows in rhythmic motion.

Clients often report LomiLomi helps them with the release of stress and tension, letting go of worries, fear and negative thought patterns which can use up a huge amount of our energy leaving us tired, listless and overwhelmed.

LomiLomi is very different from many other massages mostly because it works on the whole body without concentrating on a particular area for too long. In this way, our attention is called to move freely in, out and around like the waves of the ocean. This induces a sense freedom and peaceful acceptance which allows us to re-connect our mind and body to our innate sense of well-being.

It benefits anyone who finds it difficult to relax and let go of tensions and overwhelm or is in need of recharging, re-vitalizing and/or grounding.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage has its roots in ancient healing traditions and is now recognised for both its therapeutic and restorative effects. The warmth of the stones penetrates deeply into the muscles, enhancing circulation, easing stiffness, and supporting the body’s natural healing response. At the same time, the soothing heat creates a profound sense of comfort and calm, making it not only an effective therapy for those in need of muscular relief, but also a luxurious treatment for anyone seeking deep relaxation and well-being.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art with roots in Thailand, drawing on influences from yoga, Ayurveda, and traditional Chinese medicine. Unlike oil-based massages, this therapy is performed fully clothed in loose, comfortable clothing, with no oils or creams used—ideal for those who prefer not to get undressed or don’t enjoy oils on their skin. The treatment combines gentle rocking, rhythmic pressure, and yoga-like stretches, creating a deeply soothing effect on the body and mind. These movements stimulate the nervous system in a calming way, helping to release tension, restore natural balance, and encourage the body’s own healing response. For those living with chronic pain, Thai Yoga Massage can ease stiffness, improve mobility, and reduce stress held in the body. For others, it can simply be received as a profound relaxation experience—like a moving meditation. What makes Thai Yoga Massage unique is its dynamic quality: the continuous stretches and flowing motions not only ease tight muscles but also nurture a sense of spaciousness and deep rest that sets it apart from other massage styles.
